Voyage
The Horizons Youth Project for the Environment (HyPE) is a job club and renewable energy training programme for at risk 16ā21-year-olds. Delivered quarterly at New City College, HyPE combines weekly job club sessions with a two-week training course, supported by mentoring, personal development workshops and work experience. Led by tutors with lived experience and backed by employer partners, the programme supports re-entry into education and community life with objectives including 70% retention in education or employment six months post programme and 10% to secure renewable energy sector employment.
